My yoga sessions are available to all ages and abilities – Beginners welcome: Private 1:1 & Small Group Sessions These sessions are perfect for those… • with a busy schedule and find it difficult to get to scheduled classes • who are nervous about attending an open class straight away and would like a more personal introduction to yoga • who want to invest in their practice and take it to the next level. In 1:1 we can work intensely with my absolute focus and support, helping to achieve perfect form and alignment • who are pregnant or have young children at home • who suffer with depression, body image issues, low self esteem, a physical disability or another condition that might make getting to and/or fully participating in an open class difficult. • who want to treat themselves! I tailor my 1:1 and small group sessions to the needs and goals of the student. They can be held online via Zoom or Skype, or in person at your home or workspace. Because there are so many different kinds of yoga practices, it is possible for anyone to start. Whether you’re a couch potato or a professional athlete, size and fitness levels do not matter because there are modifications for every yoga pose and beginner classes in every style. The idea is to explore your limits, not strive for some pretzel-like perfection. It is a great way to get in tune with your body and your inner self. Physical benefits: The relaxation techniques incorporated in yoga can lessen chronic pain, such as lower back pain, arthritis, headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome. Yoga can also lower blood pressure and reduce insomnia.
